It is with much sadness that we are announcing the retirement of Dr Rebecca Wastling on 6th January 2025.
We will all miss her dearly and wish her a long, healthy and happy retirement.
Here are a few words written by Dr Wastling:
I am writing this message with mixed emotions. After 31 years at Walderslade Surgery, I have decided to retire. I started working as a doctor in Barnsley Hospital in 1988 and joined Walderslade in 1993. The time has flown by.
Walderslade Surgery, the lovely patients and staff have been, and will remain, hugely important to me.
I would also like to wish Dr Cracknell and Sister Sidebottom all the best for their retirements.
Here are a couple of photos of me and the Partners at the start of my time at Walderslade.
Best wishes to you all
Dr Rebecca Wastling
6th December 2024
We are sad to announce that today will be Dr Cracknell’s last day at Walderslade.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank him for all his hard work over the last four years. We feel very honoured Dr Cracknell chose Walderslade as his final place of work before taking retirement. He has been a key member of our team since day one of joining the practice, so we are very sorry that the time has come to say goodbye. He will be missed by us all.
I am sure you will join us in thanking him and wishing him all the very best for the future.
